Cancellation policy
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.
- Cancellations made 7–14 days before the course will receive a 50% refund or the option to transfer registration to a future course (subject to availability).
- Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the course, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness prior to the course, we ask that you use your best professional judgment in deciding whether to attend. If you notify us at least 48 hours in advance, we will do our best to transfer your registration to a future course date, pending availability.
- If EluVett Method cancels or reschedules the course for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Please note that we are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs.
Hold Harmless and Health Verification Proviso
By registering for and participating in this continuing education massage therapy course “EluVett Method Foundations Course”, the registrant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Health Verification
The Participant affirms that they are in good physical and mental health and have no medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications that would prevent them from safely giving or receiving massage and bodywork as part of the Course's partner exchange activities. The Participant agrees to inform the course facilitator of any condition that may impact their ability to fully participate or be safely worked on and mutually agree on a training plan to accommodate health concerns.
2. Understanding of Contraindications
The Participant understands that the techniques practiced in this Course may have specific contraindications (ie: acute infections, severe cardiac insufficiency, certain cancers (active or active treatment), and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).) and that it is their responsibility to assess and communicate their own health status, and to practice within safe and ethical boundaries at all times. The Participant also agrees to apply all techniques learned with professional discretion and awareness of client safety.
3. Assumption of Risk
The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participating in hands-on massage practice, including receiving bodywork from fellow participants, and acknowledges that physical contact may result in minor discomfort, temporary soreness, or other unforeseen effects.
4. Hold Harmless Agreement
The Participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Course facilitator(s), host facility, and any affiliated organizations or individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from participation in the Course, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, or illness incurred during or after the Course.
By completing registration and hitting the SUBMIT button, the Participant affirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this proviso.
