Eluvett method training
bridging massage therapy & advanced lymphatic education

The EluVett Method Foundations Course was developed to address a well-recognized gap within massage therapy education. While Registered Massage Therapists frequently encounter lymphatic congestion, edema, inflammation, and post-operative recovery considerations in clinical practice, many are not seeking medical-level lymphatic specialization or CDT certification. EluVett offers a comprehensive, two-day, evidence-informed training designed specifically for RMTs who wish to integrate lymphatic support principles safely and effectively within their existing scope of practice.

Both traditional MLD programs and the EluVett Method are grounded in the same core lymphatic drainage pathways and manual principles. However, their intent and depth differ. Traditional programs provide an extensive clinical study of lymphatic physiology, pathology, and advanced case management. In contrast, EluVett serves as a bridge between entry-level massage education and advanced medical lymphatic training, supporting RMTs in understanding lymphatic function, assessing lymphatic health, and addressing common clinical presentations encountered in daily practice.

The EluVett Method equips RMTs with practical strategies to support lymphatic flow, manage edema and congestion, and assist post-surgical recovery within professional scope. It also emphasizes clinical reasoning, contraindications, and appropriate referral pathways, ensuring therapists recognize when a patient’s presentation requires care from a traditionally trained MLD or CDT practitioner.

small cohorts. deeper learning.

All EluVett Method courses are intentionally taught in small cohorts of 6–10 students. This format is central to how the work is learned, embodied, and confidently applied in practice.

Lymphatic therapy is subtle, responsive, and highly experiential. Smaller class sizes allow for focused instruction, meaningful hands-on guidance, and the time to truly understand ~ not rush through ~ the work. You receive individualized feedback, clinical clarification, and instructor support that simply isn’t possible in large-group settings.

Learning in a small group also creates a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, partner exchanges feel safe and purposeful, and skill development is grounded in shared experience. You feel the techniques in your own body while refining your clinical precision, building both confidence and professional clarity.

This level of presence and personalized instruction is what sets EluVett training apart. It transforms each course from a workshop into an investment ~ supporting your growth as a therapist and the quality of care you bring to your patients.

frequently asked questions

Who is the EluVett Method designed for?
The EluVett Method is designed for professional Registered Massage Therapists, including new graduates, as well as manual therapy professionals seeking to integrate lymphatic support into clinical practice. It is especially well suited for therapists who regularly see edema, inflammation, post-surgical recovery needs, or lymphatic congestion and want practical, evidence-informed training that fits within scope.

Do I need prior lymphatic training?
No prior lymphatic certification is required. EluVett courses are designed as an accessible bridge between massage school education and advanced medical lymphatic training. Content is taught progressively and with hands-on support, making it appropriate for therapists who are new to focused lymphatic work as well as those refining existing skills.

Is the EluVett Method a replacement for CDT or traditional MLD training?
No. The EluVett Method does not replace Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) or traditional medical-level MLD programs. It is intended for therapists who want to confidently support lymphatic health within their professional scope, while also understanding when referral to a traditionally trained MLD or CDT practitioner is appropriate.

What will I be able to use in practice right away?
Graduates leave with practical protocols, clinical insight, and hands-on skills they can immediately integrate into treatment. You will learn to support lymphatic flow, manage edema and congestion, assist post-surgical recovery, and incorporate lymphatic principles into everyday massage sessions with clarity and confidence.

How are EluVett courses taught?
All courses are taught in small cohorts of 6–10 students to support focused learning and individualized feedback. Training includes a significant amount of hands-on partner exchange, allowing you to both practice techniques and feel their effects in your own body—an essential part of understanding lymphatic work.

What materials are included?
All EluVett courses include a printed workbook with clinical explanations, a dedicated reflection section, one-page reference sheets, and curated professional resources. These materials are designed to support learning during the course and serve as practical references long after you return to clinic.

Is the training evidence-informed?
Yes. The EluVett Method is grounded in current anatomical, physiological, and clinical understanding of the lymphatic system. Techniques are taught with clear rationale, safety considerations, and professional accountability.

Can this training support post-surgical clients?
Yes. Supporting post-surgical recovery is a key focus of EluVett training. Courses address appropriate timing, contraindications, and techniques to assist healing and manage swelling, while reinforcing clinical reasoning and referral pathways.

What if I want to continue learning?
For therapists who wish to deepen their skills, EluVett offers optional MasterClasses focused on chronic conditions and post-surgical care—without positioning the training as a substitute for CDT certification.

How do I enrol?
Class sizes are intentionally limited to preserve the quality of instruction. Early enrolment is encouraged.
